RE: The Motorhome Brokers

When we were looking for a rig I stumbled on to the web site. He works out of his house, I live 5 minutes from the address that is on the site. I don't think he sees in person the rigs that he brokers. That was a turn off for me, better off just dealing directly from the person selling the rig. I would just use the online sevices that are available. Will

RE: Cherrystone Campground

For a good meal you can ride over to the golf course Bay Creek, you can see it from Cherrystone, the bright color buildings. The courses are designed by Jack Nicholas & Arnold Palmer. This is one of my favorite places to be.

RE: Can the MoHo go here

No problems going thru the bridge & tunnels with our 37 ft Discovery towing a Tundra. We go back and forth thru there at least 6 times per year, keep in mind it will cost $28 one way. When approaching toll booths stay to the right because it's a little bit wider, I clipped the right mirror going thru the middle toll booth. They also have EZ pass now. One other thing, put the cbbt phone number in your cell, and if the wind is blowing hard call ahead to see if there is restrictions, starting at 40 miles per hour winds they will not let you cross. We go there about 3 times per season. It is very kid frendly. There will be alot to do outside of the park also. I think it will be worth the 6 hour drive, it's 3 hours for us. Have fun!!! Will

RE: Eastern Shore of Maryland to Frankfort Ky

You've got the Appalachians bewteen you and Kentucky, so it'll be a hilly route. Dropping down to Norfolk sounds nice, but it'll add a lot more miles. I'd probably go through Baltimore to 70/68, then pickup 79 in West By God Virginia down to 64. It'll be a pretty trip. This is the mapquest route in which I will probably take since i have to pickup nephew outside of Philly Thanks Will

RE: Eastern Shore of Maryland to Frankfort Ky

KYSU How about dropping down to Norfolk and gettin on I64 from there? I've driven I64 from the junction of I81 and it is not a bad road at all. Frankfort area is not mountainous. Which college are you going to? I should know, I guess, but I only know Eastern at Richmond and UK at Lexington.

Eastern Shore of Maryland to Frankfort Ky

Can anyone suggest the best route from Eastern Shore of MD to Frankfort, KY. I need the fastest route, taking my nephew to college there. I really don't like the mapquest route although I have never been to Frankfort, ky. It looks to be a hilly route. TIA Will

RE: Where to stay in Chincoteague, MD?

Tom's Cove gets my vote, We live about 45 min away and go there for quickie getaway. Depending on time of year, the mosquitoes can be bad. They don't do credit cards over the phone for resi's, you have to send a check I think. They have great fishing piers!! We go every year the 1st week in May, they have a seafood festival on site put on by the Chamber of Commerce. Mr Whippy gets my vote also. Chincoteague is in VA not MD!! Will

Alcoa wheels

I took my Discovery to get front tires replaced last Saturday. Today I get around to cleaning the rv for our upcoming trip to Disney, and to my suprise the wheels are scratched. I am very upset. Looks like the tech layed the wheels on the shop floor and spun them around, the whole flat area where the lug nuts are have swirl scratches. During the summer I spent hours polishing them to a chrome like finish. I didn't notice right away because it had rained and they were dirty. Has anyone had this happen, and should I take it back to them? Will
